Welcome to our website!
Little Foot Farm was established in 1998. We started out with two Nigerian Dwarf goats and quickly grew to a herd of forty plus! Originally, we bought the two goats because we thought they were cute (they really were!) and we thought they would be fun to have around. But we soon found out that they were not only cute, but very lovable. This breed of goat is very gentle, love to be around people, and are great with kids!
I eventually started milking the goats to see what goats milk tasted like. I started using it in my every day cooking, but found I had an over abundance of milk and had to find new uses for it.That is when I started making goats milk soap. Although we have goat milk here, we do not sell it to the public.
We also have chickens, horses, cats, and dogs. The chickens are free range. Their feed does not have hormones or chemicals. They are allowed to roam the property during the day and sleep in their coop at night. We have a beautiful Great Pyrenees that guards the goats and chickens. We also have a barn cat, as well as a "front porch" cat!
Living on the farm is my husband, Laine. Myself, Kelly, and our son Nathan. Most days you will find us at the barn. On Saturdays you can almost always find us at the local farmers market in Denton, Texas selling our fresh eggs and hand made goat milk soap. Unless the hens decide to go on vacation that week and don't give us enough eggs to sell!
